Marcello Asif Bianchini Foundation for Children

Our Goals

OUR OBJECTIVES

In North Carolina, there are children aged 5-18 residing in households facing food insecurity, alongside families grappling with poverty and nutritional challenges. These circumstances highlight the critical need for support among vulnerable communities. Collaborating with local schools, community centers, and organizations dedicated to aiding children in need is paramount in addressing these pressing issues.

PROVISIONS

Provide nutritious meals to 150 children in North Carolina by the end of the first year.

EXPANSION

Expand meal distribution programs to reach 500 additional children in surrounding areas within three years.

AWARENESS

Raise awareness about childhood hunger, sustainable agriculture and advocate for policy changes to address the root causes of food insecurity.

EDUCATION

Develop educational programs focused on nutrition, sustainable agriculture and healthy eating habits for children and their families.

PARTNERSHIP

Establish partnerships with Earthhouse Foods, local schools, community centers, and food suppliers to ensure sustainable operations.

Our Current Projects

Meal Distribution Program

Our primary initiative involves partnering with our affiliate company Earthhouse Foods (Fayetteville, NC) to distribute nutritious meals from their retail location to children facing food insecurity. We will also use farmland provided by Earthhouse to grow produce for our distribution program. We will partner with local schools, community centers, and other non-profits to spread awareness about our program.

Educational Workshops

In addition to meal distribution, we conduct educational workshops focused on nutrition and healthy eating habits for children and their families. These workshops provide practical knowledge on sustainable agriculture, making nutritious choices, cooking healthy meals on a budget, and promoting overall wellness.

Advocacy and Awareness Campaign

We are actively engaged in raising awareness about childhood hunger and advocating for policy changes to address food insecurity. Through community outreach, media partnerships, and stakeholder collaborations, we work to influence policies that support food access and nutrition programs for vulnerable children.
